Loris Gréaud has just finished a research year at the Conservatoire
de Musique, specialising in
cinematography. In 2000, while studying at the Paris-Cergy art school,
he made his first films and
video experiments engineering devices to address his concerns about image
and space.
Active on
the French free parties scenes, he found his way into underground hardcore
techno circles and set
up his own label and recording studio.
Today, his projects oscilliate between both fields. He intends to create “cinematographic
machines”and initiates collaborations with scientists, engineers, linguists,
designers,
video makers, visual artists
and musicians. These fields are no longer separate, they become zones of intermediate
transfer.
